I know it’s not the norm to begin a blog with a static home page, but I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Clicker Center Blog and to explain what it is about.

July 4, 2011 was truly Independence Day for me. That was the day I moved my horses to their own barn.  Up until that point The Clicker Center existed in the form of my web site.  Now it became a physical location – my horse’s home.

For over twenty year I have been writing about clicker training, teaching people the nuts and bolts of how to train with positive reinforcement.  The purpose of this blog is not to provide detailed instruction.  For that I will refer you to my web site, theclickercenter.com, and to my new on-line course (theclickercentercourse.com).  You can also go to theclickercenter.wordpress.com to find an archive of some of the posts I have written for The Click That Teaches on-line discussion group.

What I will be sharing here are essays relating to the barn, to my horses new life, to clicker training in general, and anything else that strikes my fancy.
